Paul is a very powerful and naturally gifted vocalist. Born in London’s East End the son of a talented Opera singer, he benefited from being classically trained from a very early age, which gives him incredible range and power that is accompanied by natural stage presence. Paul’s career spans from a four year old hopeful when he performed his first show, right through his teens where he had success as a singer/songwriter, later fronting many bands and supporting such artists as:

After years of punishing tours, Paul sadly became ill and was forced to take a complete rest for some years, but he was always destined to return to the entertainment industry. During this period of rehabilitation, he continued training his voice. In 1999 Paul decided that the only way he could portray his artistry to its full potential was to pursue a solo career. This led to many successful seasons in Spain and The Canary Islands, where he learnt to speak Spanish fluently. It is here that he finally started to flourish into the accomplished solo entertainer that he is today, performing at many of the countries top night clubs and hotels, and The Countries premier station Radio Kiss FM voted Paul The top solo artist in Gran Canaria. Paul remained in Spain for a further three years, and started

to work on his multi-tribute show artist, and it was not long before he had reached star status on both television and radio, performing on channel 6 three days a week in a multitude of shows built around his Ricky Martin + Friends Tribute Show. Paul gained a wealth of experience which enables him to accommodate audiences of all musical tastes and nationalities. In 2003 Paul had reached the pinnacle of what Spain had to offer him, and he decided to bring his talents back home to England. Paul did not want to return to the same club circuit that he had left behind 4 years previously, and wanted to make a real impact and enlisted the help of theatrical production company to make The Paul Cantara Legends Show the best that there is. With their help and guidance a totally original and unique show was written which combined music from the stars of the rat pack & swing era, Robbie Williams, Ricky Martin and Freddie Mercury & Queen, With all costume changes in front the of the audiences eyes without ever once having to leave the stage. The Multi Tribute Legends Show never ceases to bring audiences to their feet. After many months of rehearsal ensuring that all aspects of the performance, sound and lighting on stage were correct, and all costume changes perfected. In early 2005, publicity was distributed to most of the South East’s top venues and agents, within the first two months all available dates were sold out. 2006 became a sellout and 2007 has seen Paul return to the international stage. Paul is currently taking bookings for dates through out 2008.

Paul has written his own material over the years and continues to do so where his schedule allows. Paul finds studio work very rewarding and is hoping to update this site with original material in the near future.
